Local Houston Brew
About the Greet:
The craft beer and micro brew scene has grown in Houston and I’ve spent some time checking out some of the newer locations. These breweries can be very small and local or larger and regional producers. It’s always a fun time to stop in for the afternoon to taste the latest offerings and learn what they have going on. During our Greet, we could select a brewery that is attractive and settle in for a pint. Some of the local favorites include 8th Wonder, Spindletap, Town in City, and St. Arnolds. There are many others that could be on the list. If you’re interested, I’m sure I’ll be going (and maybe with a few friends).
This Greet really depends on the weather (many breweries are outdoor seating only) and general hours of operation. Just make a request for the Greet and we’ll see what’s available.
I'm Andrew and I've lived in Houston for more than 9 years. When the weather is right, I spend my free time outdoors in Houston's parks and trails with friends and/or dogs. Often on the weekends I'll check out a new local eating or drinking spot.
