About the Greet:
Over the course of 38 years we have learned and experimented. At this point we grow vegetables, fruits and flowers. We grow all our own vegetables and most of our fruit. We garden even in January. July is our quietest month. If you ever wanted to do permaculture yourself, this is your chance to visit and ask questions. The interior of the house is also included so you can see our energy conserving modifications.
We do all this organically so long pants, a long sleeved shirt, and closed toes shoes will make your visit more enjoyable.
Our house is located in near southwest Houston. After we have agreed to do the tour I will provide my address.
I'm Nancy. My husband and I have lived on the property for 38 years and we have created an Urban Permaculture site on our one quarter acre house lot.

An amazing teaching and experimental garden in private yard
This was a special experience for sure. Nancy is a real pro and gave a wonderful walk through her garden explaining how her plants can thrive in the Texas weather with a little care. Some of the plants were “rare” like golden grapefruit . She has a wonderful buckeye tree, banana trees, kumquats, etc. I never expected to find such a place so close to central Houston. A wonderful surprise. So glad we did this Greet!
