About the Greet:
This is a route I usually do a few times a week and I’d be happy for you to join me on a Saturday or Sunday morning, or possibly in the afternoon. The route can be anywhere between 3 and 7 miles depending on what we’re up for. The run goes on the hard packed dirt trails around Rice University and through Hermann Park. It’s a shady run underneath hundred-year-old oak trees that is always busy with locals and students. I usually start from the Rice Village area but could easily meet at the Hermann Park train stop or anywhere that suits you along the route. We can do the total route or just a portion of it, either running or walking.
Depending on where we finish there are options for post run food or drinks in Rice Village or Hermann Park.
It’s a good way to get some exercise and see a few of Houston’s sights.
I'm Andrew, and have been in Houston for nearly 7 years. I can be found running or walking this this route and others around town when I'm up for it and the heat is not too oppressive. If I'm not running this route I'm often walking it with a dog, either my own or a foster we're watching over.
