Old Town Spring
The town of Spring was created in 1873. Today, a visit to Old Town Spring is a trip back in time. It is a quaint village of turn-of-the-century buildings and houses that are now home to the unique shops, galleries and restaurants. There are over 150 shops and restaurants, and even some wineries to enjoy. The Wunsche Brothers Café and Saloon is a Texas state historical structure.
The Greet would begin at the historical museum, where visitors would be given a welcome package of information (including a shopping guide and map). Then, it’s off to shopping, eating and sightseeing.
This community north of Houston is certainly one of the fastest growing areas around. Home to corporations and many business, The Woodlands has a new “market square” full of activity. There are miles of paths for walking and bike riding, water taxis, and parks everywhere. If you’d like to meet a Houston Greeter there, get oriented and see one or two attractions, let us know.
