The city’s secret recruitment tool – its people – comes to life through Houston Greeters. Many corporations and businesses in the greater Houston area engage Houston Greeters to support employee recruitment and retention programs. They partner with Houston Greeters to provide an objective voice about the quality of life in Houston. The Greeters share their knowledge and experiences, while helping prospective residents experience the city’s many attractions, cultures and happenings. It gives the job candidate a chance to experience living in the country’s fourth largest city.

Additional benefits to corporations and businesses include:

- Helping expatriates reconnect with Houston
- Retention of new and relocated employees to become familiar with their new hometown
- Tailored greets for visiting employees specific to interests and/or industry
- Spouse/family orientation to a new city

    The Houston Greeters Corporate Partnership Program provides a customized and dedicated service that can be utilized as needed for new recruits, employees from out-of-town locations, customers or existing employees for retention and incentives. Houston Greeters develop the program specifically to support human resource objectives and customer relations.

    Last year, more than 1,000 people requested “greets” to see some part of the Houston region. Houston Greeters helps them experience the sights, sounds and special things about our city that impacts their overall impression of Houston.

    Additionally, Houston Greeters provides an insiders look at the vast diversity of the city with 17 languages represented by the collective group of volunteers. The assortment of greets is matched by the diversity of the city and melds the city’s personalities – space travel and trail rides, five-star restaurants and taquerias, Fortune 500 headquarters and lemonade stands, professional sports and walking trails. All of it represents the thriving metropolis of Houston and a way for visitors, new residents and each of us, to experience the city.

    Houston Greeters is a founding member of the Global Greeter Network, a voluntary association of independent welcoming programs around the world. Participating cities include Houston, New York City, Chicago, Toronto, Fairbanks, Melbourne, Adelaide, Buenos Aires, Belgrade, Brighton, Lyon, Marseille, Pas-de-Calais, Nantes, Paris and The Hague.

    There are three levels of partnership available to corporations and businesses:

    Strategic Partner

    - Company receives three Executive greets for the year.
    - Opportunity to “sponsor” a greet category of choice.
    - Company receives ten customized greets for the year.
    - Company logo posted on Houston Greeters’ website with live link to donor’s site.
    - Opportunity to submit an article to be included in Postcards from Houston Greeters, our monthly electronic newsletter and our website.
    - Company logo included on all e-newsletters, invitations etc.
    - Company support periodically mentioned in Houston Greeters’ social media outlets, such as, Twitter, Facebook and travel blogs.
    - Company name acknowledged in all press releases to the media.

      Central Partner

      - Company logo posted on Houston Greeters’ website with live link to donor’s site
      - Company logo included on all e-newsletters, invitations etc.
      - Company receives eight customized greets for the year.
      - Company support periodically mentioned in Houston Greeters’ social media outlets, such as, Twitter, Facebook and travel blogs.
      - Company name acknowledged in all press releases to the media.

        Associate Partner
