What it takes to be a Houston Greeter
Qualifications:
- Passionate about Houston and its surrounding areas
- Knowledgeable about an area of Houston to share with a guest
- People person
- Good conversationalist
- Impeccable character
- Represent Houston Greeters to personal networks and the community at-large
- Agree to have personal background checked
- Agree to attend at least one Greeter Gathering a year
Process:
- Read the qualifications
- Complete and submit an application
- Agree to complete and submit the Criminal Background Check form
- Meet face- to-face with a Greeter
- Attend orientation (review all documents, take pictures)
- Develop write-up for your greet
