The following article appeared recently in Forbes Magazine. It touts Houston as ultra-cool in the hip (not temperature) sense. Our city really rocks, according to the article, because it has jobs, a thriving arts scene, diverse population, a multitude of fantastic restaurants in all price ranges, affordable and stylish housing, among other things.

The 28th Annual Sale, The Artisan’s Market, is being held September 7-8, with an opening reception the evening of September 6. If you are in town and want to check out hand-woven, hand-spun, hand-dyed, and hand-felted linens, garments and other items made by local and national fiber artists, this is for you. The Center is located at 4848 Main Street.
